About Us

Afribox opened its doors in December 2018.
This is a family run business with everyone being involved behind the scenes and also in front of the shop.
Martin moved to Taunton, Somerset after living in Cape Town, South Africa for 55 years to join his partner.

Martin spent most of his working career in the Corporate business and was looking for a change.
He has been making biltong and doing lamb spit roasts as a hobby for over 25 years and decided to try this as a business.

We are located in the Quirky Bath Place in Taunton.
All of our meat products are manufactured on the premises. We blend our South African know-how and passion for great tasting South African food.
